Gene Monteith

Gene’s mission is to educate his clients and the community on the rewards of energy efficiency. By evaluating the needs of the structure, he will compose a comprehensive plan designed to tighten the thermal envelope, improve indoor air quality and acoustics; while lowering operating costs and creating a more comfortable structure.

At an early age Gene became involved in the trades, specifically stone masonry.  Before joining the team Gene spent two decades as a home inspector. During this time period he was involved in the restoration of over thirty historic homes in the Greater Hudson Valley area.

Gene has a deep interest in Building Science which pushes him to further his education and knowledge of the industries leading solutions. He enjoys sharing what he has learned with builders, architects, and homeowners by educating them about the many options available to solve their energy efficiency, air sealing, and comfort problems. Gene stands behind our products and believes they are an integral part of a comfortable, healthy, an energy efficent home.

In his free time Gene enjoys drag racing at the local drag strip, hunting, and spending quality time with his family and friends
